You are not alone.

Together let us be Jewish openly, proudly, and unapologetically.

Our children are watching. The world is watching.

We will not shy away from the strength and beauty of our identity.

Start scrolling. Stop scrolling.

For the next two weeks, we'll be focusing on the mitzvah of acquiring a letter in a Sefer Torah.

The “secret” of our miraculous existence is our unity. And the secret of our unity despite vast dispersion and persecution throughout the millennia — is the Torah, our most precious treasure and our guide to life.

To safeguard and fortify the Jewish people in Israel and worldwide during dangerous and tumultuous times like these, the Rebbe proposed that each Jew acquire a letter — written especially for you — in a Sefer Torah of Unity!

The Jewish People are likened to a Torah scroll. Every individual comprises one hand-crafted letter, equally vital to the whole. And, like the Torah scroll, we are each tangible embodiments of G‑d’s miracles.

RSVP to the Sefer Torah Celebration & Luncheon

This celebration marks the completion of a Torah scroll and the affirmation of our collective spirit, strength, and dedication. Featuring in-person guest speaker: Yadin Gellman. On October 7th, Yadin, an elite IDF soldier (Sayeret Matkal), faced the most harrowing 12 hours of his life while fighting in Kibbutz Be'eri.

Thanks for registering.

Past Mitzvot

Bind tefillin. Release fear.

Calling all Jewish men and boys over the age of 13. In this frightful time, bind together and release your fears.

Over the next two weeks, join hundreds of thousands of Jewish men throughout the world by donning tefillin on weekdays. Our goal is 1,400 participants in Wisconsin.

This mitzvah "arms" our brethren in Israel against the enemy.

Light candles. Dispel darkness.

Calling all Jewish women and girls. Add light in this time of darkness.

On the next two Fridays – Oct. 27th and Nov. 3rd – join hundreds of thousands of women and girls throughout the world in lighting Shabbat candles. Our goal is 1,400 participants in Wisconsin.

This mitzvah increases peace in our homes and in Israel.

When we dedicate doing the mitzvah of Mezuzah to our brothers and sisters in Israel, we create a spiritual defense shield for them.

We will not hide in the darkness.

We will be the light.

Post a photo of yourself doing a mitzvah with the hashtag #JewAreTheLight and tag a friend to do the same.

If you need help fulfilling any of the mitzvot – including procuring Mezuzos or having yours checked – we're here to help. Please use the chat functionality or email jewarethelight@chabadwi.org

Kiss your mezuzah.

Kiss hiding goodbye.

Calling all Jews. It's time to stop hiding. Own your identity with pride and protect your home with Mezuzos.

Over the next two weeks, join Jews across the globe as we identify, sanctify and protect our homes with the mitzvah of Mezuzah. Our goal is at least 220 Wisconsin households will affix Kosher Mezuzos upon their homes.

If you have Mezuzos but aren't sure if they're Kosher or have had them for more than 7 years, we can inspect it to ensure that the ink has not faded and the parchment is still intact.

When we dedicate doing the mitzvah of Mezuzah to our brothers and sisters in Israel, we create a spiritual defense shield for them.
