You are not alone.
Together let us be Jewish openly, proudly, and unapologetically.
Our children are watching. The world is watching.
We will not shy away from the strength and beauty of our identity.
For the next two weeks, we'll focus on the mitzvah of Mezuzah.
We will not hide in the darkness.
We will be the light.
Post a photo of yourself doing a mitzvah with the hashtag #JewAreTheLight and tag a friend to do the same.
If you need help fulfilling any of the mitzvot – including procuring Mezuzos or having yours checked – we're here to help. Please use the chat functionality or email jewarethelight@chabadwi.org
Kiss your mezuzah.
Kiss hiding goodbye.
Calling all Jews. It's time to stop hiding. Own your identity with pride and protect your home with Mezuzos.
Over the next two weeks, join Jews across the globe as we identify, sanctify and protect our homes with the mitzvah of Mezuzah. Our goal is at least 220 Wisconsin households will affix Kosher Mezuzos upon their homes.
If you have Mezuzos but aren't sure if they're Kosher or have had them for more than 7 years, we can inspect it to ensure that the ink has not faded and the parchment is still intact.
When we dedicate doing the mitzvah of Mezuzah to our brothers and sisters in Israel, we create a spiritual defense shield for them.
Past Mitzvot
Bind tefillin. Release fear.
Calling all Jewish men and boys over the age of 13. In this frightful time, bind together and release your fears.
Over the next two weeks, join hundreds of thousands of Jewish men throughout the world by donning tefillin on weekdays. Our goal is 1,400 participants in Wisconsin.
This mitzvah "arms" our brethren in Israel against the enemy.
Light candles. Dispel darkness.
Calling all Jewish women and girls. Add light in this time of darkness.
On the next two Fridays – Oct. 27th and Nov. 3rd – join hundreds of thousands of women and girls throughout the world in lighting Shabbat candles. Our goal is 1,400 participants in Wisconsin.
This mitzvah increases peace in our homes and in Israel.
